Otis College's mascot for the last couple years has been the owl, however, the college never had an official illustrated mascot. For this project, we were tasked with designing different owl mascots, which we would present to the Otis community for a vote. I decided to pitch a mascot that not only represented institution, but that the members of the community could love, embrace, and feel connected to. Owlbert was officially selected as the Otis College Mascot. He made his campus-wide debut in Spring 2023. As of 2025, there's 24 official Owlbert illustrations created by me, and approved by the college's branding guidelines for official use.
